The most estimated Thong Yong Group was established in the year 1981 with just a few crew men countable to around five. We began our small scale enterprise as a marine consumables supplier that comprises of tank cleaning and ship chandelling. Over the years we have evolved as a big venture diversifying our business into various streams that include vessel pumping, providing liftboat for wind farm, liftboat charter, liftboat for oil & gas maintenance, de slopping and cleaning of the tank. Our workforce members have garnered the niche into professional, technical and knowledgeable skills which have helped us to expand our manpower to grow in leaps and bounds both in house and across the globe. This, we render the credit to our most esteemed and valued customers without whom we wouldn’t have reached this far.

The predominant business now being the chartering of vessels and to provide logistics support to the offshore dredging industry in the Middle East. We boast ourselves to be large dealers in providing tugs and large barges in the offshore dredging industry for the transportation of armoured rocks .We are the pioneer in providing liftboats in Singapore, Europe, UAE and Malaysia. Our customers are from the local as well as from overseas inclusive of global dredging companies like Dredging International/ MEDCO (worked for SARB, ADMA-OPCO project), Van Oord, National Marine Dredging Company NMDC (worked on ZADCO project) , Atlantic Maritime Group (worked on Mc Dermott in Saudi Aramco Project & Hyundai Heavy Industries), Boskalis,  Petamina,Daewoo, Petronas, and CNOOC SES Indonesia. We strictly abide by the stringent requirements in the oilfield sector and so do our crew members adhere to the rules and regulations formulated by the ISM and HSE.
